The Cedar Rapids Street Maintenance department provides street and bridge maintenance, roadside vegetation management, and snow, ice and emergency response control to the citizens and visitors to the city of Cedar Rapids. It is responsible for road safety and ensuring that the street infrastructure is maintained in an effective manner. Its services include asphalt overlays, full depth concrete panel replacement, seal coating, crack sealing, mud jacking, milling, ditching, and mowing and ground control. It also undertakes curb and sidewalk concerns and is responsible for graffiti removal, grass and week control, potholes and repairs and street ordinances. The department is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
