I was pleased with their service until I requested a copy of my dog's heartworm pill prescription. They refused to give me the prescription that I had paid for because I did not want to purchase the meds from them, but another source. I asked if there was any valid medical reason to refuse my request for the prescription and the Vet told me no, they just had a policy to not allow meds to be purchased from another source!!! I could save over $30 by making the purchase elsewhere. I am pursuing legal action.

The office probably wrote the reviews after reading other reviews from other sites. They will nickel and dime you for all. The staff is terribly rude when you question anything. I for one am looking for another provider.

Dr. Sandell has been my vet of choice for many years. She is kind and compassionate and takes excellent care of my animals. Her staff is friendly and helpful as well. My pets are my children so I wouldn't trust them to just anyone. I know they will always get the best care possible at Hill Country Veterinary Hospital!

I have been taking my pets to Hill Country Vets for over ten years. Buddy was GREAT and so is Dr. Sandell and crew! I trust them and enjoy the personal service and so do my DOGS!!
