They've got a good thing going with this store. The museum display of video games from the last thirty tears is worth the visit alone.

This place fooled me with gamer nostalgia, welcoming faces, and a "locally-owned" plug. I wandered in and asked a question about an old system, knowing most of the answer. Ended up buying a cable that I knew might not work with the thought that I could always return it. Turns out "no cash refund" means no refund, only store credit. For old games, the prices are too high, especially when two other used game stores are in the same mall. This was my experience.

Gamerz Video Game Exchange is a revolution for the way gamers all around Austin can come together, hang out, try out new or old video games, and meet new friends. Even if you have nothing you want to buy, Gamerz is still a wonderful place to come and just browse. The employees are not like the ones in the wal-mart electronics section who don't know a thing about the game you want to buy. The employees at Gamerz are just like you; Gamers in some way, who know what they are talking about, which is just another reason why it is such a cool place to be. I am personally very pleased that there is now a store that will buy and sell everything from atari to Xbo360/PS3 and will even let you play the game right there in the store for just a small price if you wanted to give it a good try but aren't sure if you will like it enough to buy it. They may be pretty new now, but soon, Gamerz will be the LARGEST game exchange shop all over the country. I love Gamerz and go for all my gaming needs
