- Dental ExaminationRegular dental exams and cleanings are essential for maintaining your child’s oral health. Therefore, during these appointments, Dr. Clark carefully examines your child’s teeth and gums to detect early signs of decay, misalignment, or other dental issues. Furthermore, cleanings remove plaque and tartar buildup, reducing the risk of cavities and gum disease. Moreover, Dr. Clark also provides fluoride treatments and dental sealants to protect your child’s teeth.
- Teeth CleaningIn addition to the examination, Dr. Clark will provide a comprehensive dental cleaning to remove plaque and tartar buildup. She can also apply a fluoride treatment to strengthen your baby’s teeth and protect them from decay. Furthermore, Dr. Clark will then discuss any further treatment that may be necessary and provide information about how to keep your baby’s smile healthy.

- CrownsKnocked Out Permanent Tooth: If possible, find the tooth. Handle it by the crown, not by the root. You may rinse the tooth with water only. DO NOT clean with soap, scrub or handle the tooth unnecessarily. Inspect the tooth for fractures. If it is sound, try to reinsert it in the socket. Have the patient hold the tooth in place by biting on a gauze or clean cloth. If you cannot reinsert the tooth, transport the tooth in a cup containing the patient’s saliva or milk, NOT water. If the patient is old enough, the tooth may also be carried in the patient’s mouth (beside the cheek). The patient must see a dentist IMMEDIATELY! Time is a critical factor in saving the tooth.
