Provided by YPmobileI am saddened to enter such a negative rating, as I don’t like doing this. However, if it can help avoid someone being cheated, it is worth it. I was really excited when I first found this place, as they were able to see my kids and me and also had orthodontist services. We honestly had good experiences with the staff and dentist and orthodontist in terms of their services. However, I was overcharged $102 for a dental service I received back in January-2018. I informed the staff person at the time of payment that I didn’t think my co-pay was that much with Cigna Dental. She said it was, so I trusted her - only to find out later that my co-pay was $0. Fine - I certainly understand mistakes. However, after talking with the office manager and several staff people on multiple occasions, they never reimbursed me - even after finally saying they would. I ended up having to submit a claim through Cigna, my dental insurance, and after over a year, I am finally getting reimbursed from Cigna in March-2019. What is so horrible about it is that, after Cigna confirmed with Cedar Hill Modern Dentistry that they would reimburse me, they still didn’t. In the end, I had to prove my overpayment by obtaining another receipt from the office and showing my credit card statement. I am incensed, not because of what I endured, because even if I never got reimbursed, I would be okay financially. But, what about the little old man or lady on fixed income who wouldn’t even know how to dispute the charges or may not even find out they were overcharged. My heart is saddened for that reason. Nevertheless, I thank God that through my horrible experience and waiting over a year for repayment (and I still don’t know if Cedar Hill Modern Dentistry made it right - although my insurance did the right thing by me, even if it was a loss for them), that things ended up working out well for me. I found an awesome dental office in Waxahachie - Milestone Dental of Waxahachie with a wonderful, kind, professional staff who is also flexible and I’m able to schedule for me and my two children at the same time. So, as the scripture says, “All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” - Romans 8:28. I won’t bash Cedar Hill Modern Dentistry, but I will say be careful that you’re paying the right amount to them and not getting overcharged.

Provided by YPmobileThis place is awesome. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome. And Dr.Gross DDS is a badass and nurse Tonya real trooper. Skipped their lunch so they could fix me up. 31/2 hrs. Never seen anything like it. Highly recommended this place. Receptionist, everything was great.

Provided by YP.comHad I known the endodontist (Mr. Radwan) was this nice, patient and extremely comforting, I would have came for my root canal months ago instead of dealing with it. The staff is also awesome! I had had a root canal done before at another dentists office and it was a horrible experience. The next day after my root canal I felt no pain! No soreness! It is amazing how much great work makes a difference. So glad I decided to give Cedar Hill Modern Dentistry a try!!

Provided by YP.comIf I could give a negative star, I would. WARNING - DO NOT LET THESE DENTISTS WORK ON YOU, OR YOU WILL BE SORRY! I went in Monday 11/25 for pain in my lower jaw. When the dentist saw me, she said I may need a root canal, but she would try to not to. However, I would definitely need at least 3 fillings. 2 on the top and possibly 2 on the bottom, if the root canal wasn't needed. So, she starts the procedure after numbing me up really well. Everything seemed to go fine, she said she had gotten all of the decay, and I could get a 4th filling instead of a root canal. BIG MISTAKE! My mouth hurts worse now than it did before I went in there. I am in constant pain. She told me my mouth would be "tender" for a couple of days, but not hurting. Well I hurt, damn it. I was told to take OTC motrin and tylenol. Yeah, right...I am taking Vicodin and Hydrocodone because I hurt so badly, along with orajel, and ambesol on my teeth. I have not been able to sleep because of the pain, and wake up every couple of hours. I called Thxgiving day on the after hours line, b/c the pain is SO intense. The on call doctor said no one would be in the office until Monday, so there was nothing she could today or tomorrow. So, I asked her if I was to just sit in pain all weekend, and not really giving me an answer she said again, there was nothing she could do. Now, if I know there was a patient...a new patient at that, in a great deal of pain, I would either come into the office for that person, or try to find an office that was open to help them. I'm going out of town Saturday, so I am supposed to drive in pain for 5 hours? Really?
This place sucks, but they were quick to take my check!

Provided by YP.comdon't go here!!!!! They tried to tell me I needed a deep cleaning. I went through the paperwork and had to request to read it before signing it. When I read it I discovered there was a consent to local anesthesia which wasn't even explained when the treatment was explained. And then when I asked the dentist why I needed something my insurance wouldn't cover she replied that I didn't NEED the treatment, she just recommended it. I promptly stood up and walked out.
