Esposito's staff doesn't honor advertised prices. My family and I were driving by and saw their sign advertising a special on all half subs. We ordered 3 half subs which were good and a good value, even at full price. When we received the bill, they were $2 higher than the sign in the window says. I mentioned the sign to our waitress and was told the price only applied to takeout and delivery orders. If we were told this when ordering, we'd have taken our sandwiches to go! Especially, since the sandwiches were the only things we ordered. On top of this, our waitress seemed to spend most of her time talking to others in the restaurant. This kind of service is not worth an extra $2 per sandwich.
From the warm welcome by your host Joe at this attractive and cozy local eatery to the outrageous dessert--they have a weekly buy one, get one free, so save room--you'll have a lovely neighborhood place to call your own. The selection is varied, the service friendly, the decor reminiscent of Tuscany, and the food as plentiful as it is delicious. The Spring Mix Salad, more than enough for two, is bursting with vibrant flavors. If you crave old-fashioned comfort, sink your teeth into a pillow of baked ziti; if you're in the mood for a new favorite, opt for the Penne Esposito, al dente quills bathed in a fragrant sauce of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The bread basket holds a delicious surprise: herb-flecked wedges of pizza rolls. There is also a takeout section to the right of the entrance and the steady business is a testament to the freshness and quality of the food. Call to reserve a table on the veranda section or just drop in--you'll be back often. Take some red wine and mangia!
