- Physical TherapyCarefree Physical Therapy was established as a sole proprietorship by Cynthia Driskell, PT in September, 1987. The practice at that time was named Foothills Physical Therapy. Cynthia was a new resident of Cave Creek in 1985, and established her business with an outpatient office to serve her home community. The original location was 7518 Elbow Bend Road with 900 sq ft. Given the small town population of Cave Creek and Carefree at the time, she built her local business by also contracting with the area hospitals to provide home care physical therapy visits. Her territory included stops from Bell Rd in Phoenix to Black Canyon City.
