I don't think those other reviews give a proper picture of cathy's. Had 2 weddings catered by them and their staff and food are the reason for that. The staff is always smiling and makes everything run perfectly. bottom line i would recommend these guys to everyone

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseWe used Cathy's catering for our wedding outside. Good food ( what made it to the venue). Poor service. They forgot some food and after going through painstaking detail about everything for the day, transitions, service, places to have the food, detailed timeline, when it came to the day, the service was literally like we never spoke. They had no idea what to do and asked us ( the bride and groom) to leave our own reception to go get supplies they didn't have. They also ran out of some food. We spent at least 25% of our time at our own reception doing their job. Very poor service for a caterer. Then, to top it off, when we called them a few days after to express our concerns, they basically told us it was our fault because we had our wedding outside at our own venue and said "oh well, that happens.". We would not recommend then due to the very very poor service. They were very disorganized and would not use them again.
