National Custom Packing specializes in custom packaging services for frozen food products. Serving both the retail and foodservice industries, NCP utilizes state-of-the-art computerized scales and fully automated blending lines to provide maximum recoveries and exact product blend percentages in its packaging. The company can package products that range from eight ounces to six-pound poly bags and bulk packs up to 60 pounds. National Custom Packing produces more than 35 million pounds of product per year, only 50 percent of its total capacity. NCP is a subsidiary of VPS Companies, which also operates Inn Foods, Inn Foods International, Valley Packing and Central Cold Storage, which shares a headquarters with NCP in Castroville, Calif.
