Founded in 1970, Redwood Christian Schools serves more than 700 students in grades kindergarten through 12. It operates elementary and high schools and provides special education programs for students with disabilities. The school district offers a variety of extracurricular activities that include computers, science fairs, sports, student government, and speech and academic meets. Its curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies, fine arts, language arts and computer skills. In addition, it offers Bible studies and physical education. Additionally, it offers various activities, such as art, choir, band and drama. The school district offers a variety of athletic activities, including basketball, volleyball, baseball, track, football, cheerleading, bowling, soccer and cross country. The school district is located in Castro Valley, Calif.
