Robert A. Martinez incorporated Great Southwestern Construction in 1977. Since its inception, Great Southwestern Construction has contributed to more than 120 separate projects for more than 50 different customer owners throughout the United States. In 2001, Great Southwestern Construction was purchased by the MYR Group. The parent company lends management personnel, resources and financial backing. Great Southwestern has access to capital, financial and professional resources to accomplish many projects. With more than 10 cohesive crews in the field, Great Southwestern Construction can handle multiple projects simultaneously. As a member of the MYR Group, Great Southwestern Construction has access to an array of equipment that includes passenger vehicles, pickup trucks, vans and construction equipment. The company is headquartered in Castle Rock, Colo.
