There is a bike trial that travels 19+ miles around the lake. People enjoy the forest and hunting for mushrooms. People also enjoy our beautiful sandy beach and the clean clear water of the lake. We have boats and pontoons for rent, along with four kayaks that are free for the use of our guests. Along with a cabin rental you are entitled to a free dock space for your boat. General Info
Ojibway Resort is a beautiful serene resort located in northern Minnesota. It is in the Chippewa National Forest. We are a small resort with nice cabins. We are located on one of the best Walleye fishing lakes in the state. Our price range is very comparable, or less than, other resorts in our area. Fishing is our main attraction. There is also a state created paved bike trail that travels around the lake. Several people use the bike trail to see the beauties of nature here in northern Minnesota. We are not a very commercialized resort. We do have DirecTV in three of our cabins, however the other seven do not have television. We are hoping to be able to afford placing televisions in every cabin someday. We do have boats and pontoons for rent. We are also the only resort located on this lake. We are the main source of gas purchases on the lake. There is a channel that connects us to Cass Lake, however if the water level is too high people are not able to travel from lake to lake. We are family run and have great hospitality. We get to know our guests and take recommendations from our guests seriously. We simply advocate for enjoyment of the outdoors and respect everything around us.
