Located in Casper, Wyo., Natrona County School District 1 serves more than 11,500 students through its senior high, middle, junior high and elementary schools. Its staff includes teachers, curriculum consultants, vocational therapists, nurses, guidance counselors and psychologists. The school district offers a nationally recognized abuse-resistance program and the English as a Second Language program. In addition, it offers cocurricular activities, after-school programs and hot lunch. The school district offers a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, swimming, cheerleading, basketball, baseball and tennis. Its extracurricular programs include athletics, a student government, clubs, mission trips and peer tutoring programs. The school district also has a cafeteria that offers lunch and breakfast to students.
