General Info

As a Soldier in the Arizona National Guard, your primary place of duty is your home state. Typically, National Guard Soldiers live in their home area, where they can work at a civilian job and be close to friends and family. Drill is one weekend per month. Annual training is typically two weeks and happens once per year. The National Guard can help you find purpose and direction for your life. You'll find a place where you fit in with other like-minded people. You'll also learn new skills and have access to a college education. Serving in the National Guard can help you earn a livable wage rather than starting your life out in debt from student loans. You can bring more excitement to your life and have an impact on your community.
