The Tennessee lodge is located in middle of the state. On the outside hills of the Appalachians. The original lodge was built in the early 1900'S. Although much of it was renovated. Still keeping its originality and classic appeal. This is NOT your average cabin. Primitive being the keyword. NO television and barely phone reception. Feel free to USE the generator for power and wood burning stove to cook. There is NO modern plumbing. Although water is accessible on the rocky drive WAY. There are tent areas for the adventure lovers. And if YOU really want the experience. Grab the sleeping BAG and sleep under the stars next to your campfire. The terrain is a heavily wooded area. With rocky terrain and a natural cave. During the winter months the cedar trees topped with snow becomes a winter Wonderland and a site to SEE. And in spring and summer the fireflies light UP the starry nights AS the mossy hill turns to grassy shelves. The deer and turkey pass and live through the area year round. Feeding on the undergrowth and drinking from nearby natural springs. YOU CAN spot a deer almost everyday. The property lays just outside of Carthage. TN a small quiet town with essentials for your stay with US. And Cumberland river. Just a FEW miles OUT. Makes for good fishing. Also nearby. Defeated Creek park with lakes and extra activities. Whether YOU are looking for a yearly hunting retreat or a weekend camping getaway. YOU CAN BE sure to reconnect with nature. Please look over the contract and check the calendar for available dates.
