If it's about the food, this place is a gold mine. Completely unassuming, looks like it would serve, at best, average diner/bar fare. The inside is nothing to write about. But the FOOD, what a surprise...every single thing our group ate was exceptional. Whoever is cooking not only knows culinary arts, but is gifted with an ability to make anything the best you ever ate. I can't recommend this place enough. If it's about the food for you, you have to try it. Forget the atmosphere, this food is NYC exceptional. Wow. Try the prime rib or seared steak....seriously out of this world good.

Last night, I was attending a military function at Keddys restaurant in Carthage. I had never been to Keddys before but I had heard a lot about their great food. The food was indeed very good, however it was a little difficult to order drinks at the bar because it was very busy and quite honestly, the bartender seemed very stressed and was not very friendly. Furthermore, there where two little girls sitting at the bar, surrounded by people drinking alcohol. I am a mother of three and I found that quite disturbing. I am from Texas and I do not know what the regulations are here in New York but I do not think that a bar environment is the appropriate place for children.
