Established in 1977, Southern Machine and Fabrication Company is a manufacturer and supplier of a range of close-tolerance mechanical components. Its services include conventional lathe and milling machine work; custom metal fabrication in carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum; computerized numerical-control lathe and milling machine work; manufacturing assembly parts for intricate machines; and industrial contracting and maintenance. Its fabrication shop contains a sheet metal shop that produces a variety of sheet metal products, such as ductwork and machine guards. It serves various clients, such as Ampacet, Anheuser-Busch, Trinity Rail Group, Ameristeel, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, J.M. Huber, Georgia Power, ViaSat, Graham Packaging, Applied Thermoplastic Resources and Glad Manuf. Southern Machine and Fabrication Company is located in Cartersville, Ga.
