Flowering Branch Children s Center is one of the programs offered by the Advocates for Children. Flowering Branch offers short-term residential and counseling homes for troubled youth, including individual, group and family counseling. It has 12 bedrooms to accommodate up to 12 boys and girls at one time and a crib for a small child. The center additionally offers music therapies, art and recreational activities, such as horseback riding, movies and fishing, homework and tutoring assistance and daily meals. Advocates for Children is a nonprofit organization serving the children and families of Bartow County and other counties in north Georgia. The center is located in Cartersville, Ga.
