Founded in 1978, Solid-Scope Machining Company is a state-of-the-art machining company that provides expertise in the machining of tantalum, copper, stainless steel, brass, beryllium copper, titanium tool steel, elastomer, eccosorb plastics, kovar, molybdenum, aluminum and a wide range of ceramic materials. Additional services include precious metal processing, silk screening, heat-treating, annealing, plating, EDM wire and sinker castings, welded assemblies, lapping, dip brazing, grinding, painting and photochemical etching. The company s facility contains a full line of tools and equipment, including EDM equipment, a wide array of milling machines, more than 15 lathes, numerous grinding machines and computer equipment. Solid-Scope clients include Boeing s Electro-Dynamic and Space Systems divisions, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA, Hughes Electronics and Raytheon Corporation. Solid-Scope Machining Company maintains its ISO 9001 certified facilities and support offices in Carson, Calif.
