We were blessed enough to have ended up with Dr. Turner for my husband's emergency spinal surgery in the summer of 2012. I (the wife) was and continue to be so impressed with Dr. Turner's knowledge and his willingness to share that knowledge in order for us to understand what is happening. Wonderful bedside manner & it's obvious that he loves his work. His office is over an hour drive from our house but it is worth it! In 2006 my husband had a spinal fusion by an orthopedic surgeon that is a great doctor but there is a world of difference using a neurosurgeon for spinal surgery. He is "up" on all of the latest & greatest techniques and very willing to spend time communicating the pros / cons of the different techniques. On another note, the staff in his office is phenomenal; MY HUSBAND IS NOT JUST A CHART NUMBER!!! We both just can't say enough great things about Dr. Turner and his staff...truly amazing!
