I do not recommend this auto shop. They diagnosed my vehicle over the phone without even looking at it. they diagnosed it wrong, and the price just kept going up and up 400 then to 800 then to possibly 1200. After they dropped the tank replaced parts that were not broken, they finally realized what was wrong. They charged me for a NEW module from dodge. Now when I take my car to dodge, they tell me that the module is for a European dodge - not US and is a 6 year old part. NOT NEW. I paid over $500 for this new part, and they didn't even order me the part from dodge, they just probably found one in the back and used that one. They took my money for a new part, to make up for their loss in labor when it was their fault that they diagnosed it wrong and took additional labor to fix it. STAY AWAY FROM STEVE KING AUTOMOTIVE!!!!!

Twice now, they have proven how honest they are. Very minor fixes were the only thing needed. They did not try to fix something that wasn't broke. So happy to have found them. I recommend to everyone who wants an honest mechanic.

We've taken all of our vehicles to Steve King for the last 7 years, He has always treated us right. I usually deal with Eric. Of course they're much cheaper than the dealer, but it's the trustworthiness that makes the difference. I can tell they only perform needed work, because at one point I had a comparable diagnosis from a competor, and another time, I took it in for brakes that were making a lot of noise, and they only had to blow out the drums...about $50 in labor only. Other mechanics would've said I needed a new set up brakes all around...I can assure you.

I Would take my car again, i took my car in for some work and they made som ajustments checked it out all was fine, honest.
I took in my 1998 Ford Expedition with the rear end going out. They fixed it for half of what the dealer wanted. Another time I had a battery leak that corroded some vacuum lines and wires. Dealer could not find the problem, but Steve King Auto did and they fixed it on time. I like them.
They had come highly recommended from several sources, but I won't be one of those. I took my van in to replace power steering pump, alignment and replace AC compressor. Their alignment equipment was broken so they had to keep it a day longer to get that repaired. Then they didn't get the right AC part but had already taken it apart so they had to keep the van over the weekend which meant we were stranded because my family won't fit in a car. When we got it back, the AC was warm, something that a simple test drive would have determined. So we had to take it back and it took another day to determine that their AC equipment was also faulty and our unit wasn't charged correctly. They charged as much as the dealership but cost me time and inconvenience. I won't be using them again.
