Founded in 1963, Carrollton Junior High School offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students. It has an enrollment of more than 400 students in grades seven and eight. The school has a library and computer and science laboratories. Its library has a collection of traditional hardcover books and online educational resources. It provides a variety of subjects, such as English, math, science, social studies and health education. It also offers other subjects that include reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and comprehension. It organizes special programs to involve students in activities, such as dance and vocal and instrumental music. The school is located in Carrollton, Ga., and is operated by Carrollton City Schools.
