I have a mother who is now 82 and has the start of dementia. This month we received a letter that the complex will not be renewing her lease and she has 60 days to move. My mother has been a good paying tenant for the last 8 years. And unfortunately her health has changed since moving in. I would suggest that this facility change their protocol about hoe they notify the tenants. These are people who enter healthy and will probably have a change in their health while living there. This has been a big disappointment the way they handled my mother and I feel for the tenant who does not have family in the state. I hope they can change the way they handle the matters of other tenants in the future and I feel for the prior tenants and family members. This is someone's life and it was handled without any thought. I still do not know why this is happening and hopefully they will be kind enough to return my calls. So encourage your parent to ask questions about their future.
