Caramore Community is a private, nonprofit organization that has been operating for more than 25 years. It is a day-structured support program for individuals with mental disabilities. The organization treats people with psychiatric brain disorders and diseases through counseling and stimulating support. Caramore Community focuses on suitable housing, financial stability, independent living and employment opportunity. It also offers Tier 3, which is a long-term care management program for those who are suffering from chronic and episodic mood and psychotic disorders. The program aims to simplify and monitor complex medication regimen and provides affordable housing to clients. The organization is accredited by The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission. Caramore Community employs over 10 full-time and nearly 12 part-time staff members, including counselors, rehabilitation therapists and social workers.
