Established in 1958 and headquartered in Carol Stream, Ill., CNS Home Health and Hospice is a full-service, nonprofit agency, providing health and hospice care services. The agency offers various services, such as skilled nursing; physical, occupational and speech therapies; psychiatric care; home health aides; hospice and palliative care; infusion services; medical social work and bath programs. The services also include catheter care, medication management, patient and family education, chemotherapy, fluid replacement, antibiotics administration, pain management, hyperalimentation, bathing, shaving, shampooing, dressing and grooming. The agency s hospice services include assistance by registered nurses, dietary consultation, therapy and chaplain services. It also offers short-term services. CNS Home Health is a state-licensed, Medicare-certified agency recognized by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, serving DuPage, Will, Kane, McHenry and western Cook counties in Illinois. It is a division of Central DuPage Hospital.
