Coming to SE New Mexico from Trenton, New Jersey, Dr. Awwal has an extensive background in internal medicine. He will be a practicing internist at Kymera and his practical experience will be a major advantage for our patients. Prior to his arrival in Southeastern New Mexico, Dr. Talha Awwal was the Chief Internal Medicine Resident with the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. His compassionate and efficient demeanor was well received by his patients. Dr. Awwal completed his doctoral program at Lahore Medical College and Institute in Pakistan. Some of the professional organizations to which Dr. Awwal is a member include: American Board Of Internal Medicine (ABIM) American Society of Clinical Oncology American Heart Association Outside of providing exceptional care, Dr. Awwal enjoys cooking, cycling, and playing the guitar.
