  Hygiene: Our highly trained staff will be monitoring your oral hygiene during your treatment. We ask that you brush three times daily and floss once a day. We suggest maintaining your regular cleanings with your dentist. We are also happy to help coordinate with your general dentist to remove your wires for dental cleanings.

Restorative

• Crowns
  The Herbst appliance consists of crowns cemented over your back teeth like a thimble. The crowns have rods and tubes (hinges) attached to them that hold your lower jaw forward, which moves the teeth and stimulates growth. The rods and tubes can be adjusted throughout treatment to position your jaw and move your teeth as needed. Your teeth will NOT be reduced.

Orthodontics

  Throughout the course of orthodontic treatment, you will have regular checkups and/or adjustment appointments at Hulse Orthodontics every 4-8 weeks. We will work closely with you to ensure that your appointments are as convenient as possible.
• Invisalign Orthodontics
  Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you’re wearing. So, you can smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology to craft complete treatment plans from the initial position of your teeth to the final result. Just because many practitioners are certified Invisalign providers that does not mean that are all going to get the same result. Dr. Hulse will personally program a treatment plan to your unique treatment needs.

  Most orthodontists tend to treat the cost of braces like the “elephant in the room,” refusing to provide insight or guidance until your consultation appointment. However, as a leading Carlsbad orthodontist we’re built differently. When Dr. Hulse says that your quality of care is our pinnacle consideration, he means it. And our team lives by it.
