Dr. Schachtschneider has over 25 years treating challenging chiropractic cases. There is little that he has not seen or treated. He treats the whole person, utilizing varied techniques to relieve pain and restore health. Dr. Shock specializes in Family Practice Infants to Seniors, Sports/PI injuries, joints, extremities, and managing and relieving pain. He is specialized in pre and post surgery management as well as spinal conditions with extensive experience with discs and problems associated with them. Pain relief and restoration of the body through specific Chiropractic Adjustment is his priority and his emphasis rests on flexibility and strengthening rehab. He uses manual manipulation, activator, SOT, diversified, Gonstead and motion palpitation methods to achieve optimum health in all of his patients.We put our patients first, and use the latest in chiropractic technique and research to provide you with caring, professional service with the personal attention you have come to expect from Beach Cities Chiropractic. I started seeing Dr. Publico after I had three unsuccessful back surgeries in the late 1990's. I was SO skeptical about seeing a chiropractor as I never really considered them "Doctors" until I met Dr. P. I had always thought surgery was the only way to fix my condition. I WAS WRONG! We started with X-rays and a full exam and review of my condition and past surgeries. I honestly didn't think he could help me because of the surgeries. Again, I was wrong. Dr. Publico is a warm, personable guy who really shows that his ultimate goal is making people feel better. His office staff are so nice and friendly I always feel at home when I am there. After the first couple weeks of care I started noticing that I was able to do things I couldn't before such as picking up my son and sitting for longer than 20 minutes at a time. His massage therapist Kasha is AMAZING. I have always considered myself a massage junkie and I can say her mix of theraputic and "feel good" techniques leave me feeling good
