Operational since 1936, LeTort Elementary School serves more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers programs in English and mathematics. It provides English for Speakers of Other Languages, reading incentive and other learning programs. The school also conducts science fairs, essay contests and character education programs. LeTort Elementary School organizes food drives, holiday parties and field trips to educational destinations. It offers food, transportation, guidance counseling and medical services. The school additionally maintains a parent-teacher organization that organizes family fun nights, school spirit clothing sales, book fairs, and cultural and educational events. Its nurse provides health lessons on various topics. Located in Carlisle, Pa., LeTort Elementary School is a part of the Carlisle Area School District.
