  Stephen L. Bloom merged his former solo practice into the firm in 2007. He has been a practicing lawyer since his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1987, and has taught courses in economics, personal finance, and business law at Messiah College. He has authored the books, “The Believer’s Guide to Legal Issues” and “They’ve Crossed the Line: A Patriot’s Guide to Religious Freedom.” Currently he is also the elected Pennsylvania State Representative for the 199th Legislative District.

He is the former host of the “Practical Counsel – Christian Perspective” radio program and the founder of the Estate Planning Council of Cumberland County. Mr. Bloom has been actively involved in the leadership of numerous community and ministry organizations, including his church, the Carlisle Alliance Church. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Tax Court. His legal practice concentrates on estate planning; estate administration; nonprofit, ministry and small business organizations; and real estate transactions. He is a member of the Cumberland County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and the Christian Legal Society.

  Mr. McKnight is the majority shareholder of the Carlisle Pennsylvania, law firm of Irwin & McKnight, P.C. Mr. McKnight grew up in York County, Pennsylvania where he graduated from Dallastown Area High School in 1970. He received his undergraduate degree in 1974 from Drew University of Madison, New Jersey, cum laude with specialized honors in economics and his Juris Doctor in 1977 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Mr. McKnight is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court of the Middle District of Pennsylvania. His areas of practice are estate planning, family law, litigation, real estate and municipal law. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Cumberland County Bar Association, and is active in the Carlisle Rotary Club. He is a past president of both the Cumberland County Bar Association and the Carlisle Rotary Club. He currently attends the West Shore Evangelical Free Church.
