  Before that proceeding could begin, St. Vincent filed for a temporary restraining order in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. The TRO was denied by the court, after which the hospital moved for injunctive relief and summary judgment. While the court reasoned it lacked jurisdiction over the hospital’s claims for injunctive relief, the court did take up the hospital’s motion for summary judgment on the ALJ removal restrictions.

  Richard M. "Rich" Albert is Counsel with the Transactional team, focusing primarily on business law. He practices out of the Firm's office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

  Brittany routinely handles matters involving various aspects of real estate transactions, including the preparation and issuance of Title Insurance; due diligence and title defect curative work relating to mineral transactions and acquisitions, as well as providing title opinions pertaining thereto; coordination and completion of real estate closings; drafting and negotiating commercial real estate documents relating to municipal finance deals, including but not limited to the preparation of Purchase and Sale Agreements, Bills of Sale/Assignment/Assumption, Deeds, Commercial Options and Leases. In addition to her work in the real estate and energy industry, Brittany also assists in a variety of commercial transactions, including tax-exempt financings, lease-purchase agreements, and general commercial acquisitions. She enjoys interacting with clients and helping them solve their issues, which is highly reflective in her work drafting agreements for commercial property deals.
