Founded in 1974, J.R. Coleman Outreach Services is a nonprofit, social service agency that provides a range of child and adult day care services. It serves children, families and senior citizens in Canton and Stark counties in Ohio. The agency operates a child care and family center that offers educational, summer enrichment, literacy, and before- and after-school programs. J.R. Coleman Outreach Services provides health screening and personal care services, as well as recreation and socialization opportunities for senior citizens. It operates St. Paul s Senior Housing, a 60-plus-unit subsidized apartment that serves low-income individuals. The agency also operates J.R. Coleman Community Renovation Corporation, which offers house repair and handicap accessibility renovation services.
