Located in Lafayette Hill, Pa., NHS Human Services is a nonprofit corporation and provides community-bases behavioral health, mental retardation, juvenile justice and other human services to the public sector in the United States. The organization operates more than 400 programs throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia and Ohio, and offers a wide variety of care services to over 50,000 children and adults each year. Its services include early intervention, mental health and substance abuse treatment, drug and alcohol abuse prevention, foster and therapeutic care, alcohol rehabilitation, juvenile justice and older adult services. The organization operates various licensed private academic schools for children and youth in grades kindergarten through 12 with autism spectrum disorders.
