The owner doesn't care about his customers. After complaining about my trip and guide, he tried to "get rid" of the problem instead of FIXING it. All I wanted is what I paid for...a nice rafting trip!! Instead I got 3 hours of Deliverance!!
I had no problem with Alan running safety...he could have stayed out of the boat and the trip would have been greatly improved...if there was tension in the boat then it was because ALAN created it, by trashing my friends minutes earlier! And how would that affect his ability to tell Gorge history, he had no problem telling personal history and trashing other companies and their equipment and guides. I never wanted a "FREE" trip...I PAID $109.90...I have every right to expect a mediocre trip! I did not request a refund for the previous trip, even though it wasn't great...it was acceptable! I understand you run a lot of first timers and they have fun because they have never experienced an AWESOME trip with AWESOME guides and equipment that doesn't smell like funky B.O.
The reason I finally took your meal was because I saw that was all I was going to get for my $109.90! And as it turns out I was right...I got a burger, nachos, and a coke for my 109.90.
And yes it was a busy Saturaday. All the more reason for the hostess to seat me, and not tell me "sit anywhere you want"...I sat two other places and was told "not there" before she allowed me to sit at that table. I even tipped the waitress because she was the only one who even acted like she cared!
Maybe you should have tried FIXING the problem (my unacceptable experience), instead of trying to get rid of your problem (me).
And everyone should have been worried, I was so mad, I was about to stroke out!! After 3 hours of HELL, you company showed zero concern for anything but shutting me up!!
