Located in Canaan, Conn., Vollmer America produces high-precision gauges for cold-rolling mills and has been operational for more than 40 years. It produces gauges to measure lateral strip curvatures, burr height, profile sizes, notches in profiles, plated strips, lateral cross bows, strip edge curves, thickness of fabric, and paper and other products. The company offers a variety of process data acquisition and evaluation products, including VRecoS, a system for the visualization and records the measurement results. It also designs, manufactures and installs servo hydraulic screwdown controls. The company has offices worldwide, including Argentina, France, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, South Korea, China, Croatia, Denmark, Mexico, Turkey and Zimbabwe.
