Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is located in Canaan, Conn. It provides independent and assisted living, nursing and health care services. The center offers a wide range of services for city residents, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, restorative nursing and independent living programs, rehabilitation, and spiritual and therapeutic recreation activities and programs. Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center also offers a variety of personal care services, such as regular exercises, bathing and grooming assistance, socialization activities and outing programs, and 24-hour emergency services. It conducts evaluation and treatment of illnesses, and provides medication services. The center also provides skin and wound care by trained nursing professionals.
