Our store opened for business in 2005. Our Cana Store Opened in 2012! We are passionate about our customers’ health, focusing on the improvement of well-being through food, lifestyle changes, and nutritional supplements. Walk through our doors and the smiling face of Wendy Pack, proprietor, will welcome you. Certified as a nutritional consultant, through her knowledge and understanding of supplements and their applications can help you find the cause of your pain, poor health, or an ailment rather than just treat the symptoms. Of course there are herbs to help the symptoms, but the goal is always to find a way to minimize re-occurrences. This is a different way of looking at health, unlike modern medicine which focuses on just one layer, the symptoms, alternative health focuses on many layers like symptoms, treatment, cause, and prevention. Total recovery is the goal! Wendy Pack grew up in the Southern California desert spending most of her childhood on a date and citrus ranch. Reared in a home that focused on healthy homemade food, old-fashioned homegrown produce, and fresh farm chicken, her passion for all things natural began! Wendy married Bill Pack, who was the son of Ran and Jane Pack. Bill’s parents were in their early fifties when they started over professionally and opened the House of Health in Greensboro, NC in 1973. Now run by their grandson, it is the longest operating health food store in the triad. Wendy and Jane became fast friends and both strove to learn more about how to keep the human body healthy through the right food, exercise, and nutritional supplements. Our promise is to provide the most knowledgeable and up-to-date information on health and alternative methods. We love to talk about health, but we also love our customers as friends. We listen carefully and patiently, and with empathy. We strive to give you your personal time, and hope you leave gratified by the warm and gentle atmosphere of House of Health. Seems like a nice herb store friendly ,they have a good varity of loose herb and products of a health nature. I shop there ,they usually have what I'am looking for .
