My journey to surgery was long and deciding to have surgery not an easy one. Now looking back on this surgery, I believe Dr Coe put together a plan for surgery that resulted in my successful surgery. He hired a team to support him and a competent P.A. assists him.
I think some people have unrealistic expectations of a surgeon when they whine about not being listened to. You have to realize that if a surgeon let each patient ramble about their condition without directing the conversation; his time would be wasted because little usable information would be conveyed. With this said, Dr. Coe asked me specific questions about my condition, and he then discouraged me from pursuing surgery. Dr. Coe recommended additional physical therapy, and only after its completion would he consider surgery.
Thank you to Dr. Coe who gave me great advise. I would recommend Dr. Coe to someone who needed a great doctor.
The PA Lauren Bradley is fantastic. Thank you for your patience and compassion. The front office staff are all great people.
One thing I liked was he talked to my wife also and not just me. This made her understand what was going on as well. I have recommended Dr. Coe to several people and they have had the same great experience.
I found Dr. Coe and PA. Lauren Bradley to be very attentive, professional, and kind. They were very informative about the procedure, and the recovery, so that I was comfortable making the decision to go ahead.
Dr. Coe is routinely considered one of the finest spine surgeons on the west coast. I found that his questions were thoughtful and relevant. If you are going to have such a daunting procedure, choose the best surgeon you can find, which is Dr. Coe.
He was "right on"" with his diagnosis and my experience with him and his staff was super.
My experience with Dr. Jeffery Coe was excellent. In April of this year I could not get out of my chair one Saturday. I could hardly walk and his staff got me in to see him that week.
I experienced a successful surgery. That's always the goal. Thank you Dr. Coe. I will be forever grateful.

I am now pain free. It is hard to express how this, at times, feels like a miracle. I am grateful to Dr. Coe for his surgical skills.
I will start this review by saying that I had an Axialift two level spinal fusion performed by Doctor Coe 2 years ago. Before the surgery, I had to take significant amounts of pain medication just to avoid complete misery. I am now almost completely pain free and I run 5 miles a day and walk another 4. Dr. Coe literally saved my career, and my sanity, by performing a very professional procedure.
My experience with Dr. Coe & his staff was 100% positive. If you plan on needing any services or procedures this is the place to go. Very professional & efficient & appointments are always on time. Dr. Coe had suggested a 3 disk fusion and said that he would be able to take away 50 % of my pain away. Reality of this matter is Dr. Coe did what he said and more. I am about 80-90% pain free. Dr. Coe is very serious & compassionate about his profession. If you want to be pampered go to a spa, but if you want results see Dr. Coe & his professional Staff. Dr. Coe is very specific when questioning you about your issues. Your answers will be very easy to answer, because it is either "yes" or "no". After my 8 hour procedure the first person I saw was Dr. Coe. The next day was Dr. Kluck. The next day was Dr. Coe's P.A. Lauren. And of course the fourth and final day of my recovery at El Camino Hospital-Los Gatos, again Dr. Coe was there to check on my status. Within 3 weeks Dr. Coe & Staff had al
Yes, I'm a fan. Dr. Coe has relieved me of my leg pain. The surgery was a complete success. His skill is amazing. His commitment to ensuring my understanding of what he was going to do surgically and what the recovery would be like is invaluable. I'm grateful for his skill and commitment to my recovery from debilitating pain.
In the last eight years I have had three different fusion surgeries done by Dr. Coe. I am pain free, stand straight and do light hiking. He is extremely competent and answers questions with an explanation. He always has wanted me to try pain management first, if it might help. If surgery is needed he has explained it and shown me on a spinal model. His staff is friendly; his PA has always given me the time I need. His practice is thriving, leading to a more time intensive visit. Yes, he can seem a little "short" at times; I don't mind that as I want the best doctor working on my spine. I come from out of the area to see him.
Dr. Jeffrey Coe changed my life and all for the better. A year ago I could not walk out and pick up the newspaper in the drive. Exactly a year ago, Dr. Coe did a fusion and I am now 100% pain free. I also returned to work in 3 weeks after the surgery. His assistant, Renee is incredible. I walk 3-4 miles a day and do Pilates three times a week, and havent felt this good in many years. I do not need a chatty doctor, just one that does his job and does it well.
I had an intensive Spinal Fusion Surgery after trying many epidural shots and a discectomy that did not unfortunately fix my problems. I have been so much better since we finally chose to go with what he had first recommended to me that I was not mentally ready for at the time. After almost 2 years of him helping me an allowing me to go the path I chose we did the Fusion. I could not be more grateful for it either, because it has helped me get back on my feet and I am slowly but surely getting better as I do Aqua PT. I still have nerve issues in my right leg but they are slowly changing for the better as well and yes I was told the surgery might not fix my nerve issues cause if they have died or were severely damaged it can take time for them to come back to normal. I understand his ways and I agree and like his ways.
I Believe he comes from a strong military background and he has a strait forward approach about things. He is there to fix your pain and your issues with your spine not hold your hand like a therapist... its sad to see some of the peoples responses on here being more personal hate then professional issues they had. I am glad I chose him as my Doctor and he has helped me through a large issue in my life cause of a car accident that was not my fault. Thank you Doctor Coe & to your staff as well.
I am very familiar with the work this doctor has done. I have been with my girlfriend several times during her visits to Doctor Coe. Susan has had three separate procedures done by Dr. Coe. She had the hump straightened in her back and has two other procedures to adjust due to complications from Wegeners disease. This doctor has been exemplary in his professionalism. Susan is a very difficult patient and has required expertise beyond just back surgery. Dr Coe is conversant on all of the issues not related to just surgery. He has kept all considerations about her condition in mind regarding her care. His work has given Susan eight years of vastly improved quality of life. He is a doctor who does care about his patients. Susan is not wealthy. She is on Medicare.
Doctor Coe has gone the extra mile at all times to deliver first rate care to me, regardless of his remuneration. Dr. Coe is considered to be one of the best in his field. I can attest to that. He has done great things to help me.
