Camp Lejeune Dependents Schools operates several elementary, middle and high schools that provide academic education to students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district is operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity. Camp Lejeune Dependents Schools has a partnership with the Military Child Education Coalition, which is a nonprofit organization with a focus on comprehensive research that addresses the transition and other educational challenges faced by military children. The schools within the district offer educational programs in music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, physical education and computer technology.
