Johnson Primary School serves more than 750 students annually in pre-kindergarten through grade two. The school s curriculum includes classes in art, music, physical education, media skills and Spanish. It also provides the Gifted Resource Teacher program to meet the specific needs of students. Johnson Primary School has a parent-teacher association that arranges several events, including book fairs, family nights and spirit weeks. The school arranges various reading and writing workshops. It is a part of Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools, which is an educational system and is operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). The district serves over 24,500 students annually and employs nearly 2,200 employees.
