The local Pharmacists in North Kingstown...Frenchtown Plaza are terriffic. But, the policies of RiteAidCorp regarding phone in prescriptions are primitave. Also, the policies of constantly sending me mail and calling my phone are repulsive. But for the Pharmacists I would go to CVS and may do so any how. There are so many numbers and so much conversation to phoning in an RX that it makes the procedure worthless.
Dear President:Here is how I got in the best "amerishape" of my life and your location helped greatly.Read on weight loss warriors.....Here is a valuable tip for all......The best way to lose weight, tone up, and help lower your blood cholesterol level is to eat less saturated fat, carbs, and begin to control your current weight with walking or do another physical activity for at least 30 minutes each day. This plan is based on these simple steps and amerishape.com has taken the guess work out of figuring this out on your own. Use up at least as many calories as you take in.Be physically active.Aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity on most days of the week, if not all.Eat a variety of nutrient-rich foods.Eat a diet rich in vegetables and fruits.Choose whole-grain, high-fiber foods.Eat fish at least twice a week.Eat less of the nutrient-poor foods.Limit saturated fat, trans fat and cholesterol you eat see wwwamerishapecom Regards,Anita Gros

I'm writing about the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Swansea MA. There is a very arrogant person behind the pharmacy counter. It has only been a Rite Aid for a few monthsand the personnel has changed. I had been using that particular drug store /pharmacy since 1964 when it was privately owned. I will not tolerate being treated without respect. There have been others that have taken their business elsewhere as shall I. If any managers from Rite Aid pay any attention to these reviews, teach your techs the value of customer relations. I can't imagine a registered pharmacist acting like the horses behind this arrogant young tech is.

DON'T GO TO THE PHARMACY IN BELLTOWN ON 3RD AVE! Score is ZERO. I got a prescription filled one time there and they shorted me almost 20 pills that I am required to take twice daily. I didn't realize until it was too late and insurance wouldn't allow me to fill a new prescription for another week after. When I called the Pharmacy Manager Jessica Snowden was rude and unapologetic. She gave me the wrong number to contact her District Manager.
Good pharmacy techs always make sure the wait isn't too long.
I do not like to go to Rite Aid unless I have to. They have high prices on all of their products and their Pharmacy service is not good at all. I can't remember how long I had to wait one time just to pick up a perscription and they only had one person in the back at the Pharmacy on a Friday at 2 Pm c'mon guys.

Rating "0" but forced to choose one star. I have put in so many complaints to the pharmacy manager that I'm starting to get on my own nerves. Apologies just aren't enough anymore, I will be looking for a new pharmacy. They are very nice and very apologetic but not very efficient and some have absolutely no common sense. I have spent too much time trying to resolve issues, waiting for prescriptions because they are not ready even though they were dropped off or called in over a week ago and receiving the wrong dosage of medication and having to return to correct it. I even had an incident where I called to see if my prescription was ready and was told, YES and then went the following day to pick it up and it wasn't ready. When I told them that I had just called yesterday, I was told that they put the medication back in stock and no one knew why so I had to wait while they filled it again. I called and left a message for the District manager months ago and never received a return call.

This pharmacy is beyond pathetic. For one prescription I desperately needed, I had to return to the pharmacy several times for a week after their automated phone system called me to say it was ready. I got a different excuse every time, having to re-explain everything to a clueless person each time I went in. Filling other prescriptions has led to similar absurd interactions with the loser staff and broken automated phone system. I also had discussions with other irate customers who had similar stories. I would give this pharmacy negative stars if I could.

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars, I would. They kept me on hold, long distance, for 45 minutes to speak with a pharmacist. When I asked what the problem was, they said they were very busy. I asked how many pharmacists they currently had working, and they said 4. Why on earth does anyone need to be kept on hold for 45 minutes if there are FOUR pharmacists working?

A neighborhood favorite, even in a city that actively discourages chain stores.
