Founded in 1959, the Marshall Medical Center is an independent, nonprofit community health care provider that offers a range of inpatient and outpatient treatment services. It offers cardiac, family medicine, gynecological, surgery, and outpatient occupational, physical and speech therapy services. The center also provides palliative, respiratory and intensive care services. Its diagnostic imaging services include X-rays, ultrasounds, MRIs and CT scans. With locations in Placerville, Georgetown, Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills, Calif., the center maintains more than 90 inpatient beds. In addition, the Marshall Medical Center operates a sleep laboratory and transitional care center. The center organizes several health educational and community volunteer programs.
