Sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, N.Y., Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center is a teaching health care facility that serves residents of northern New Jersey and southern New York. The center s services include acute pain management, cardiac care, dialysis, emergency treatment, joint replacement, nursing, organ transplantation and rehabilitation. Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center was founded in 1950 and is located in Camden, N.J. In recent years the facility has undergone improvements that have expanded its beds to more than 400, modernized its women s health services, created a child care center and improved its intensive care, cardiac care, surgery and emergency departments.
