Timothy P Deahl DDS PC specializes in beautifying smiles, maintaining your dental health, and helping you improve your appearance. Our office is open Monday through Thursday. We know your time is important, and we work to ensure that your visit happens as professionally and thoroughly as possible. Emergency and After Office Hours: Dental emergencies are never convenient or timely. We are committed to our patients' dental health no matter what time of the day or night it is. If you are a current patient, and have a dental emergency after regular office hours, please call Dr Deahl at 617-797-7924 or Scott at 617-312-0685. If you are a patient of Dr Cipriano's and are experiencing an emergency after hours, please contact him at 617-306-7080.Patient Education Diagnostic During your Recare appointment, we will perform a thorough examination, which may include digital x-rays, cancer screening, periodontal examination, an evaluation of your teeth for decay, alignment and failing restorations, and a close look at your occlusion (How your teeth fit together). Dr. Deahl and his staff are devoted to patient education so that you have the knowledge to share in the decisions on how to best maintain your occlusion and smile. Hygiene Your periodontal health is very important, since the long term condition of your teeth and any restorative treatment depend on stable, healthy gums and supporting bone. Every patient's periodontal diagnosis is unique and Dr. Deahl strongly believes in the design, mutually agreed upon treatment plan and implementation of a program that will most effectively address the needs of the patient. Restorative Our practice philosophy is that silver/mercury fillings (amalgam) are no longer the best restorations to place in your teeth. Since amalgam fillings contain mercury, think of your existing amalgam fillings like a thermometer. When you eat or drink something hot, the amalgam filling will expand. When you eat or drink something cold, the amalgam will contract and over time this movement of the filling can crack the tooth therefore creating a new problem. Instead, he uses a bonded, tooth colored composite resin restorations. Utilizing the most advanced bonding systems available, these restorations actually strengthen the teeth.

Cleaning and exam were very thorough. Dr. Deahl even took the time to explain what we were seeing in the X-rays as far as the layers of the teeth and tissue. Office is clean and staff is personable

Dr Deahl is fabulous. I have always taken good care of my teeth and it's nice to find a Dentist who cares as much as I do and will partner with me in making the best decisions. Recently, I needed a crown, but I did not want my tooth ground down and to have a permanent cap. Dr Deahl listened and understood my concern. He was able to work magic with an in-lay and save my tooth! Also, I love the technology Scott brings to the front desk - I never have to wait, checking in and out is easy. Scheduling and confirming is a breeze and it's always a pleasure to visit the office...My did I just say I like going to the Dentist?!?! Yes, I did :)

What can I say? The staff is friendly and the care is very professional. I get treated with respect and Dr. Deahl and his staff take the time to explain things well. I would recommend Dr. Deahl.
I have now been to Dr. Deahl's office several times. I have seen the hygienist and the doctor. I was greeted warmly and welcomed on my first visit. My new patient exam was thorough and Dr. Deahl answered my questions satisfactorily. Linna, the hygienist, was knowledgable and has great chair side manner as does Dr. Deahl. All in all, considering Dr. Deahl is a dentist and it's not his fault dentistry has such a bad rep, it was a pleasant experience. I give them an "A!"

Being a new patient was a simple process. They have their forms electronic on their website. Just fill them out and click go and they are sent to the office. Dr Deahl has a very modern office with current technology, too! Good experience for the dentist!
