Apple Pond Farm Guesthouse
General Info
Apple Pond Farm and Renewable Energy Educational Center (2 hours from NYC) is a family run organic farm. Green energy systems (a wind turbine and solar panels) provide 90% of our energy needs. We raise vegetables, fruit, chickens (eggs and meat), lamb and goat. Newly renovated our guest house has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and a fully stocked kitchen, living room, deck and dining room filled with books, videos, and games for adults and children. Dogs are welcome. Groups of up to 6 are $300 per night +tax with a two night minimum week end stay. Larger groups can be accommodated. Mid week and longer bookings are less. Guests are invited to join us for farm chores - egg collecting, vegetable picking, feeding the animals and making hay. In season, pick vegetables from our garden. Add-on experiences are available: learn to make goat cheese, spin and dye wool, plant an organic garden, raise backyard chickens, conserve and produce energy for yourself.Apple Pond Farm and Renewable Energy Educational Center (2 hours from NYC) is a family run organic farm.
