I contracted with Jeff of “ECO Windows and Siding LLC”, on 6 October 2018 for a roof, window, and siding project, at that time I paid a 50% deposit. After numerous excuses for why he could not start the project, on 5 March 2019, Jeff canceled the contract, via text message, and promised to repay the deposit in full within 7 to 10 days. On 19 March, Jeff claimed ECO Windows and Siding was going bankrupt and out of business, and he would return the deposit by the end of the month. Through this whole time, Jeff has claimed; he is going bankrupt, waiting on a loan approval, getting money from family, getting a second job, waiting on a second loan approval, and lost money to a contractor fraud scheme. To date ECO Windows and Siding LLC has only returned half the deposit, and that has taken over half a year to do so. No money has been received since August 2019.
