When you go to get your hair done at Blades, you have to remember that they are students, so I wouldn't expect them to do what the girls in the fancy shops for years are doing. I also noticed that it can take sometimes longer to get your hair done but its worth it- I get one color put on my entire head and layers cut in my hair. Very simple but, I have had bad hair cuts in salons but never at Blades. I love that place. Oh, and no salon prices unless you buy shampoo or something like that.

Two of my co workers went to Blades to get hair cuts and color, one lady loved her hair. The other thought it was just okay, but i thought they both looked nice, so I decided to give it a try. Everyone whom I spoke to were friendly, it did take the student a little too long to come get me but she was very nice. I think the student was scared because she got a teacher to stand with her while we talked about what I wanted to do to my hair. The student and teacher went to mix my color and the teacher actually did some of it to show the student exactly what to do. I was nervous, thinking she must not have done this before but it was great. My roots matched my previous color perfect! I just got a little trim so she didn't need help from the teacher for that. The blow dry was not as smooth as i like but i was very happy with the roots and trim. And it was only $40! The teacher seemed very helpful and I feel that if I was not happy she would have made it right. I will go back.
