Founded more than 70 years ago as a financial institution for teachers, Lake Michigan Credit Union offers a full-line of financial services to the general public. The organization provides a wide variety of checking and shavings account plans, auto loans, secured and unsecured personal loans, home mortgages, online banking services, telephone and online bill paying services, debit and credit cards, and numerous investment services and retirement planning programs. In addition, the credit union offers a full slate of insurance products, including auto, home and life coverage. Lake Michigan Credit Union maintains its corporate headquarters in Grand Rapids, Mich., and operates nearly 20 branch offices and more than 50 automated teller machines throughout Allegan, Kent, Muskegon and Ottawa Counties in the state.
