Founded in 1957, American National Rubber specializes in the manufacturing of a variety of closed-cell sponge products. It has a staff of more than 300 skilled employees. The company manufactures gaskets, seals, adhesives and convoluted tubes. It also produces a range of assemblies, as well as contact cement and hot melt adhesives. American National Rubber s closed-cell sponges are used in sports and office equipment, electronic enclosures, control panels, oil seals, railcars and conveyor belt cushions. The company serves the automotive, construction, lighting and marine industries. American National Rubber operates a fabricating plant in Cadiz, Ky.; automotive sales office in Troy, Mich.; and manufacturing unit in Ceredo, W.Va.
