My opinion was 4 but now has dropped to 2. The "2" rating is applause for the hardworking care givers. The loss of points reflects the fact that the Administrator will not allow my 84 yr old mother to return to her G.A. apartment. Admin is forcing my mother to stay at a facility that failed to give doctor-ordered cumudin, causing Mothers protine reading to drop into dangerous levels. The G.A. administrator is aware of the problems but instead of advocating for this G.A. resident, admin insists that Mother stay in there until said administrator can do her own (What are her medical credentials??) assessment/evaluation and decide if/when Green Acres will allow Mother to return to her home. We have offered alternative ways to meet Mothers health needs, but G.A. Admin will not agree to any other plan. How can residents feel secure and at home in a facility that can instantly, and with no due process, rob them of their expensive security?
